Every year, springtime activities for some include building and preparing their boat for summer racing.
The Aquafest $50 Boat Race is on Sunday, July 29 at the downtown boat launch.

This is a sail only race (unless the judge grants permission to paddle) where all the materials of the boats must be worth less than $50.

It’s wet, hilarious fun and includes both kids and adults. 

It doesn’t matter how many people you have on your boat but with a $50 limit on materials, size tends to be the limiting factor.
