NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   Lake Stevens City Council   Public Hearing to consider regulations related to medical cannabis collective gardens and dispensaries.  The city of Lake Stevens is proposing to amend sections of the Lake Stevens Municipal Code (LSMC), adding definitions for  cannabis,  medical cannabis collective garden, and medical cannabis dispensary in LSMC 14.08.010 and prohibiting the establishment of medical cannabis collective gardens  and medical cannabis dispensaries within the city in LSMC 14.40.040.  The City Council will accept public testimony on the proposed regulations Monday, June 10, 2013 at 7:00 PM, at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center (12309 22nd St. NE, Lake Stevens, WA  98258).  Questions can be directed to the Department of Planning and Community Development at 1812 Main Street or by calling (425) 212-3315.  Interested parties may submit comments regarding the extension of the moratorium orally during the hearing or in writing, prior to the hearing, by sending them to City Hall, attn:  Russell Wright, PO Box 257, Lake Stevens, WA  98258.
