The Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Seattle office of the FBI in the investigation of two radio towers that were toppled earlier this morning near the 13400 block of Short School Road in unincorporated Snohomish.
Neighbors
called 911 shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday and said someone was on heavy
equipment near the towers.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived two of the towers were down. Heavy construction equipment was found at the scene. A K9 search of the area did not lead to any suspects.
Deputies
also discovered other evidence at the scene, but the Sheriff’s Office is not
releasing any information about that evidence.
