Murray’s speech will also touch on the tragedy at Fort Hood and on a ceremony being held today at Ft. Lewis in memory of soldiers who recently died in Afghanistan. Senator Murray will also discuss the Caregiver and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act, a bill that includes Senator Murray’s landmark women’s veterans legislation.
