Due to improved air-quality conditions, the Stage 2 burn ban for Snohomish County has been lifted. Outdoor residential burning will again be allowed with proper permits from a local fire authority.
The burn ban for Snohomish County was issued last week by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency as stagnant weather conditions elevated pollutions levels.
Clean Air Agency staff will continue monitoring weather conditions and determine when a burn ban should be instituted and lifted.
