The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of 35-year-old Sherry A. Harlan of Everett to call the Sheriff’s tip line at 425-388-3845.

Harlan was discovered missing Tuesday night after a co-worker contacted authorities to report she hadn’t been to work for two or three days. Harlan is described as punctual and responsible about her work, so this discovery caused concern. A deputy went to her home at the Cedar Creek Apartments in the 11600 block of Highway 99 and confirmed she wasn’t there. Sheriff’s detectives reviewed the situation and decided to seek a search warrant to enter her apartment.

Investigators with the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab started examining and processing the apartment Wednesday morning. Detectives are hoping to gather information that will help them find Harlan. At this time the case is being described as a missing person case with suspicious circumstances.

Harlan has lived in the apartment complex for two to three months. Detectives believe she lived alone and might have been missing for up to a week.

Her 1989 Nissan Sentra also is missing. The license plate number is 928RVN. The Sentra is described as a blue-grey four-door.

Updates will be made as additional information becomes available.
