EVERETT - The campaign of incumbent Prosecutor Mark Roe continued to build momentum on Monday with the addition of Sheriff John Lovick to a growing list of endorsers from throughout Snohomish County. Lovick joined fellow police, fire and public safety leaders throughout the county in support of Roe.
Roe was pleased to receive Sheriff Lovick's exclusive endorsement. "John and I have worked together to serve and protect Snohomish County for over 20 years" says Roe. "That cooperation and teamwork has grown even stronger over the last few months, and I look forward to building on what is already a great partnership!"
In making his announcement, Sheriff Lovick stated, "Mark has simply done an outstanding job as our Prosecutor, and has my complete support, trust, and endorsement." Together, the two make a formidable team with almost 50 years combined experience tackling crime in Snohomish County. "Mark has always been an outstanding prosecutor and advocate for victims and their families," said Lovick, noting Roe's two decades experience managing high profile criminal cases and numerous volunteer posts with victim support groups. "Now, as County Prosecutor he has lived up to high expectations and deserves election this fall."
Sheriff Lovick's strong endorsement adds to the already overwhelming support Roe has received from Snohomish County law enforcement as they rally to retain their Prosecuting Attorney. Sheriff Lovick joins the Snohomish County Deputy Sheriffs' Association, numerous city police officers' guilds, and the Snohomish County Sheriff and Police Chiefs Association in their unanimous endorsement of Prosecutor Roe. "My campaign is building great support because we have a great team in the Prosecutor's office focused on public service and safety. I'm proud of the work we are doing, and look forward to continued service to the communities
and people of Snohomish County. "
