Leadership Snohomish County is currently accepting applications for our Leadership Challenge Program for  Young Adults.  This program is designed for  young adults, age 21-27, who want to make a difference and develop their abilities as leaders.   The Leadership Challenge program is for people who live or work in Snohomish County.   It is a skills based, hands –on program, that includes an immersion project to benefit a non-profit organization in Snohomish County. This is an interactive education program, and we meet  an hour and a half each month for six months.  In addition, participants spend 50-60 hours in a leadership project for a non-profit organization. These project hours are scheduled on your own as it fits for your schedule.  Each month we meet in the late afternoon 4:00-5:30pm to learn about a leadership topic and discuss how it applies to your immersion project and to yourself. As part of the educational experience, there will be a four-hour community board training to learn more about boards and how to serve on boards effectively.

Get to know your community, yourself, and your potential.   This is a highly selective program, offered once each year.  Applications are being accepted now through July 31, 2010.    Program begins October 1, 2010.

Our program will prepare you to accept greater responsibilities in your community and your place of employment.

Applications are available on our website  www.leadershipsc.org
