Just after 9:30 pm on September 10, 2010, Marysville Police were dispatched to a fast food restaurant located in the 17300 block of 27th Ave. NE to investigate an assault with a weapon complaint.

Witnesses stated that they observed a suspect in a pickup truck point a long gun at an adult male and his teenage son who were in their SUV at the time.  The witnesses further stated that they observed the suspect take the teen out of the SUV at gun point and shove him into the pickup.  A witness stated that the suspects told them they were bounty hunters.  Another suspect was seen getting into the victims SUV, where the adult victim was still sitting, and drive off following the pickup truck.

Marysville officers located both the pickup truck and the victims SUV a few minutes later at a nearby gas station.

Officers were able to determine three adult male suspects were repossessing the SUV from the victim, and once they had secured the adult victim in their pickup demanded to be directed to his residence so they could repossess a second vehicle.

The three suspects, 19, 33, and 45 years old, all from Cheney, WA, were arrested and booked at the Snohomish County Jail for second-degree kidnapping, and first-degree robbery.

Neither the 39 year old victim nor his 16 year old son sustained any visible injuries.
