LAKE STEVENS – Crews will shift lanes and use flaggers to direct traffic on State Route 9 between SR 92 and Lundeen Parkway during the day this weekend. Crews are in a race to finish permanent striping on the SR 9 Lundeen Parkway project before it’s too cold or wet to work, and have a window of opportunity this weekend.

Striping crews will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16. Drivers should expect delays or consider avoiding the area by taking alternate routes. Flaggers will direct traffic with the assistance of the Washington State Patrol.

Electronic message boards are in place to alert drivers to the construction and any schedule changes. For more information about the project, visit: www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/sr9/lundeentosr92.
