Global Spectrum, management for the Comcast Arena at Everett, is kicking off this year’s giving season with record
breaking numbers. Kids’ Night Out and Pink the Rink were record breaking successes. This is only the beginning for a
season of giving here at Comcast Arena with Tilted Thunder Rail Birds next on the books.

The Tilted Thunder Rail Birds are hosting a Harvest Throw-Down this Sunday with Northwest Harvest. All guests that
bring a non-perishable food item out to the Arena on Sunday receive 50% off their admission to the event.
The Silvertips fans generated a record breaking $78,000 for the Providence Foundation at their Pink the Rink night this
year. Followed by Global Spectrum’s Kids’ Night Out Program that sent over 750 local Snohomish youth to Disney on
Ice.

“I cannot tell you how important the Kids’ Night Out program has been to our kids and their families. Most of the children
we serve are from the EHA low income housing for the City of Everett and otherwise would not have the means to
attend these events. For them to have the opportunity to go to Disney on Ice with their families is a huge deal for them
as all of their family’s money is spent on necessities. And sometimes even these basic needs are not met….I can
definitely tell you that you are making a difference in the life of a child,” Jennie Oshie, Director, Everett Boys & Girls
Club.

Sponsors that participated in the Kids’ Night Out program are: Roy Robinson Inc., Randy’s Ring & Pinion, LF Drywall
Systems Inc., Ticket Envelope Company, Northend Truck Equipment Inc., Northwest Aerospace Technology, Sheet
Metal Local #66, Bank of America, Northwest Plus Credit Union, T & C Farms Inc., Jet Stream Freight, Reliable
Hardware, Brien Ford, Lamoureux Real Estate, Eastham Foster CPA’s, Dwayne Lane, Fluke, Local Union #191 IBEW,
Hyundai of Everett, Snohomish County Labor Council, and Coin Market LLC.

The giving season has just begun with several upcoming charity events just around the corner. The Washington
Stealth have partnered with four charity organizations for the 2012 season and the Everett Silvertips have the annual
toy drive starting up on November 25, 2011.

The Comcast Arena at Everett, recipient of the International Association of Venue Manager’s (IAVM) prestigious Venue Excellence Award 2010, was developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. The 10,000-seat venue hosts a myriad of events including concerts, ice skating and family shows.

The facility is also home to the Everett Silvertips, a Western Hockey League franchise; the 2010 National Lacrosse League Champions, the Washington Stealth; the Northwest’s only banked-track roller derby league, Tilted Thunder Rail Birds; and the Indoor Football League’s Everett Raptors. The venue accommodates other sporting events such as basketball, volleyball and international skating competitions.

The Comcast Community Ice Rink is used for public skating, hockey leagues, figure skating and much more. The two ice sheets can be converted to form a 57,000 square foot space to host trade shows and special events. The three-story Edward D. Hansen Conference Center includes three 900 square foot executive meeting rooms, and an 11,000 square foot ballroom, which can be arranged in a number of different configurations.

Global Spectrum (global-spectrum.com) manages the Comcast Arena at Everett, as well as more than 100 other public assembly facilities around the world. Nearly 20-million people attended more than 11,000 events in Global Spectrum venues last year. Based in Philadelphia, PA, Global Spectrum is part of Comcast-Spectacor, one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment companies.
