Everett Police Major Crimes Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the smoke shop located in the 1000 block of N. Broadway.
On January 11, 2012 at about 9:30 a.m. a man who used a Husky ski cap to try and hide his face, displayed a knife and robbed the store. The suspect entered the store and initially asked the clerk for pack of “spicey.” The suspect then asked for the entire box of “spicey” however the clerk asked for payment in advance due to the value of the product. The suspect then pulled out the knife and demanded money. After not getting any money from the clerk, who is also the store owner, the suspect fled out the door with the owner giving chase with a golf club.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s about 5’-10”, 170 pounds. He was wearing green pants, green shirt, tennis shoes, and a dark jacket and the Husky ski cap.
