Carolyn Weikel, the Snohomish County Auditor, announced effective May 1, 2012, the Snohomish County Licensing Division of the Auditor's Office will be offering Quick Title services for vehicle and vessel titles.

Previously a service only provided by the Department of Licensing in Olympia, Quick Titles are now available in many county licensing offices across the state.  Citizens no longer have to make the trip to Olympia to obtain an expedited title for their vehicle or vessel when they need the title immediately.

Quick Titles are available for most vehicle and vessel transactions however there are some restrictions. Quick Titles are not available for vehicles reported insurance or wrecker destroyed or flagged as Not Eligible for Road Use (NEFRU).  This service is not available if the vehicle has a Washington Rebuilt brand on the title or will be branded rebuilt on the new title.

Vessels are also eligible for Quick Titles. The same supporting documents such as a signed title or affidavit of loss title and bill of sale needed previously to transfer title are still required.

The Quick Title fee is $50 in addition to any registration and/or plate fees.  Quick Title transactions are non-refundable.
