EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College’s Corporate & Continuing Education Center will return to its newly renovated facility, 2333 Seaway Blvd. in Everett, in January 2013.

The public is invited to an open house 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 4, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony with EvCC President David Beyer, there will be opportunities to learn about the Center’s certificates and programs, meet instructors and tour the facility.

The entire interior of the two-story structure was renovated to provide improved use of the space, including an expansion to 12 classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment, plus four technology classrooms with high-speed Internet connections, a conference room, student lounge, a large meeting area for up to 100 people and more parking.

The Center provides professional development and career training for individuals and customized training for employers in areas such as aerospace, manufacturing, information technology, leadership, project management, small business acceleration and continuous improvement.
