Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate the murder of Molly Conley. On June 1, 2013 at approximately 11:20PM, Ms. Conley was shot and killed while walking with her friends near
South Lake Stevens Road and South Davies Road in Lake Stevens, Washington.
Detectives have been reviewing tips received on the investigation over the past week and continue to review and evaluate the information gathered during the early stages of the investigation. This includes witness statements, physical evidence, and canvassing of the neighborhood where the shooting occurred. The American Legion has officially established a Crime Stoppers Reward Fund with Wells Fargo Bank. Citizens can go to any Wells Fargo Bank and donate money to the Molly Conley Reward Fund. Currently, the reward fund is at $2,910.00 for anyone who calls in a tip to the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS with information leading to the arrest and charges in her case. Sheriff’s Office detectives are encouraging those with information on the investigation to telephone the Crime Stoppers hotline or the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
