County Executive John Lovick will announce the release of Snohomish County’s proposed 2014 budget Friday morning, Sept. 27. The presentation is open to media and the public, and will begin at 11 a.m. on the Snohomish County Campus in Everett.
During the presentation, Lovick will highlight certain projects and priorities that the county intends to focus on in the coming year, including mental health awareness, pedestrian safety near elementary schools and the appointment of a county ombudsman.

· 10 a.m. – Media briefing with Executive Lovick, 6th floor Executive Office Conference Room
· 10:20 a.m. – County officials answer media questions on budget specifics, 6th floor Executive Conference Room
· 11 a.m. – Presentation to County Council and members of the public, 1st floor Public Meeting Room
Following the public presentation, Executive Lovick and members of the County Council will be available to answer follow-up media questions.
