The Snohomish County Council will kick off its annual budget process with a public forum designed to give members of the public an opportunity to learn about the county budget, and to provide input on spending priorities. “The forum has been a valuable tool in recent years as we’ve struggled with shrinking revenues and increased needs for services”, said Council Chair Stephanie Wright. “It is always important to hear directly from the people who pay for
and receive county services to help us make the right decisions about spending priorities.”
The forum will be held in the Jackson Board Room on the 8th Floor of the Robert J. Drewel Building (east county administration building), located at 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA. The forum will begin at 6:30 with a brief presentation on the county’s revenue picture, followed by an opportunity for public comment.
