I would like to thank city councilman Kim Daughtry and his wife for making time for a community question and answer time.
Surprisingly, I was the only person to show up.
We had a great discussion about the long-term vision for Lake Stevens and how some of the proposals would be financed (not everything is based on taxes), much of which I didn’t know.
These kinds of meetings are quite worthwhile because they are not formal like a city council meeting and much easier to have a personal conversation.
Hopefully we can have more of these and the councilman and his wife were very personable and courteous.
