Malicious Mischief/Resisting Arrest/Minor in Possession (MIP), 08/16/2010, 2500 block of 116th Ave. NE
A 19-year-old male was arrested for Malicious Mischief, Resisting Arrest, and MIP. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from Lake Stevens Police to help with a foot pursuit of a male who was observed vandalizing a fence by spraying graffiti on it. The male was located and stated that he fled on foot because he was intoxicated and he knew he had a warrant for his arrest. A search of the male revealed a plastic baggie of marijuana. The male was booked into Snohomish County Jail.
Prescription Fraud/Criminal Impersonation 1°, 08/16/2010, 9600 block of Market Pl.
A female came into the Lake Stevens Police Department regarding a Fraud complaint. She stated that she had a female receive a prescription in her name by calling the Pharmacy with all the proper information. Upon further investigation it was revealed that the suspected female was an ex-employee of a Dentist Office and that she had prior crimes of this nature. Charges will be referred pending further investigation.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Interlock Violation, 08/18/10, 1600 block of Main St.
A 45-year-old female was arrested for DUI and Interlock Violation. While an officer was conducting a traffic stop, he noticed that the female exhibited signs of being under the influence and that she was missing her required Interlock device. The female was asked to provide a Field Sobriety test which she did voluntarily. She was unable to perform the tasks and was transported back to the Lake Stevens Police Department to conduct a Breath Analysis Test (BAC). The female was cited and transported home.
Minor in Possession (MIP)/Providing a Premise/Obstructing, 08/18/10, 3300 block of Baker Vista Lane
A 17-year-old male was arrested for MIP, Providing a Premise for Minors to Consume Alcohol, and Obstructing. Officers responded to a party complaint where a juvenile male was found to be in possession of alcohol and was providing a premise for other underage individuals to drink. During the investigation the underage male lied numerous times and failed to comply with the officer’s instructions thereby impeding the investigation. Charges were referred to the Snohomish County Juvenile Detention Center.
Disorderly/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 08/20/10, 91st Ave. SE
A 40-year-old female was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Marijuana. An officer was dispatched to a disturbance complaint. The officer arrived on scene to discover the female was distraught and was screaming profanity because the homeowner denied her entry into the residence. The female refused to calm down and became belligerent and was placed under arrest. A search of the female revealed a glass pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana. The female was booked into Marysville Jail.
