Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV)/Malicious Mischief 3°/Interfering with Reporting DV, 11/28/10, 900 block Frontier Circle West
A 33-year-old male was cited for Assault 4° DV, Malicious Mischief 3° and Interfering with Reporting of DV. Officers were dispatched after a female caller was disconnected while speaking to dispatch. Upon arriving the officers discovered that the female was attempting to pick up her child, but her ex-husband would not allow her to do so and when she called for help the male pushed her to the ground and threw her phone and it shattered. The male fled the scene prior to the police arriving. A citation was sent to the court to be issued to the male suspect.
Assault Weapon, 12/01/2010, 1900 block South Lake Stevens Rd.
A 21-year-old female reported that her boyfriend was shot. During the 911 call a Washington State Patrol preformed a traffic stop on the victims’ vehicle for speeding. The Lake Stevens officers arrived on scene and begin interviewing the victim and witnesses from the alleged scene. While other officers attempted to locate the suspects’ vehicle, which was unsuccessful. Witnesses stated that they were unaware of any gun shots or disputes at that alleged location. The case is currently under investigation.
Possession of Drugs and Driving While License Suspended 1° (DWLS 1°), 12/02/2010, 1900 block of South Lake Stevens Rd.
A 36-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License. The officer preformed a traffic stop after performing a computer check, which revealed that the registered owner of the vehicle had a Suspended/Revoked License. The drivers’ identity was confirmed and the male was placed under arrest. The vehicle was impounded and a search of the male’s person revealed a small container of marijuana. The male was booked into Marysville Jail.
Search Warrant, 12/03/10, 1700 block 94th Drive SE
A 51-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and is currently under investigation for Mail Theft, Identity Theft and Fraud. This occurred after the Lake Stevens Police Department served a search warrant on the residence as a result of a tip that was provided to the department regarding the criminal behavior within the residence. The search warrant revealed numerous victims of mail theft and possible identity theft. This case is currently under investigation.
