Collision Hit and Run, 3/11/12, 700 blk of 87th Ave NE
A 16-year-old female was cited for an Instructional Permit Violation. A female reported that her parked vehicle was just hit and the driver drove away. The witness was able to provide a license plate to the officer. The officer located the young, female driver who left the scene. She admitted to driving the vehicle and hitting the parked car. The victim requested charges not be filed on female driver. The driver was cited with the infraction.
Harassment, 03/11/12, 1900 blk of 94th Dr SE
A 41-year-old female was cited for Harassment. The female showed up at her foreclosed home while her property was being removed by the bank and started to threaten several neighbors. The case was referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutor for charging.
Driving While Under the Influence (DUI), 03/11/12, 12800 blk of 20th St NE
Officers were dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver near 12800 blk of 20th St NE. The vehicle was located, and it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. The case was turned over to Washington State Patrol for further investigation.
Collision, 03/11/12, 9600 blk of Market Pl
An officer responded to a collision where a 16-year-old female driver made an illegal turn into the transit center. She struck the curb with her left front tire, causing disabling damage to the front of her vehicle. The vehicle was towed, and the scene was cleared without incident.
Assault, 03/12/12, 2900 blk of 113th Ave NE
Officers were dispatched to an assault that happened after an incident of road rage. The suspect got out of his vehicle, opened the victim’s vehicle door, and punched him in the face several times. The victim was offered aid but he declined it. A description of the suspect and the suspect vehicle was provided to the officer. The case is currently under investigation.
Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV), 03/14/12, 1700 blk of 91st Drive SE
A 36-year-old male was arrested for Assault 4° DV. Officers were called to assist after the 36-year-old male assaulted his 34-year-old sister over a disagreement about money. The male was booked into Marysville Jail.
