Assault 2° Domestic Violence (DV), 03/25/12, 12000 blk of N. Lakeshore Dr.
A 16-year-old male was arrested for Assault 2° DV. Officers were dispatched to a call where a 16-year-old male was physical with his father. The two males were arguing when the 16-year-old male pulled a steak knife and attempted to stab the Father. The 16-year-old male was placed under arrest and transported to Denney Youth Center.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 03/26/12, 1800 blk of S. Lake Stevens Rd.
Two 18-year-old males were cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. An officer was dispatched to a call of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival the officer located two males who had been smoking marijuana. Both males were issued a criminal citation and released to their own custody.
Burglary, 03/27/12, 700 blk of SR 9 N.E.
A 36-year-old female was arrested for burglary. Officers were dispatched to a shoplifting complaint where the female had been previously trespassed from the location. The female stated “if I don’t steal food, then I don’t eat”, yet only two of the items she stole were food. Due to the prior incident of shoplifting, the female was booked into Marysville Jail.
Assault with a Weapon, 03/28/12, 10400 blk of Vernon Rd.
A 21-year-old male was contacted after officers received a report of a man brandishing a weapon. The reporting party said that a male in the passenger seat of a vehicle had flashed a gun and yelled profanities at them. No gun was located, and the case remains under investigation.
Traffic Pursuit, 03/28/12, Market Pl./SR 9 N.E.
A vehicle pursuit was initiated after the driver failed to stop for a traffic violation. As the vehicle sped off, the driver threw suspected drugs out the window onto the roadway. The pursuit was called off at the trestle for safety reasons. The vehicle was later located and impounded. The case is currently under investigation.
Court Order Violations, 03/30/12, 400 blk of 101 AVE. S.E.
A 25-year-old female and a 20-year-old female were both in violation of a court order. Officers were dispatched to the above location. Upon arrival it was learned that both parties have a protection order against the other. They were both booked into Marysville Jail.
