The police department responded to 655 incidents in the week of April 15, 2012 through April 21, 2012. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Possession of Stolen Property (PSP)/Possession of Methamphetamines/Paraphernalia/ Resisting Arrest/Obstructing/ Driving While License Suspended (DWLS)/ Possession of Vehicle Theft Tools/Warrant Service, 04/18/12, 2500 block 103rd Ave. SE
A 27-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines, Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing, and Warrants. During a traffic stop, the 27-year-old driver attempted to run from the officer. The male was apprehended and found to be in possession of methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and a credit card not belonging to him. Both the male and the 31-year-old female passenger had warrants and were booked into Snohomish County Jail. Charges for Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Vehicle Theft Tools were referred to the Prosecutor. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant, and the case is currently under investigation. 


Residential Burglary/Theft, 04/18/12, 3000 block Lake Dr/9800 block 4 St. NE/1100 block 102 Dr. SE
Officers responded to three separate Residential Burglary and Theft complaints. All of the residences appeared to have the front door pried opened. The cases are currently under investigation.


Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV), 04/18/12, 2100 block 131st  Ave. NE
A 41-year-old male was arrested for Assault 4° DV. Officers responded after it was reported that a 41-year-old suspect and his 18-year-old stepson were arguing. It was learned that, during the argument, the suspect grabbed the victim around the neck. The victim left the scene before officers arrived, but it was determined that 41-year-old was the primary aggressor. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into Marysville Jail.


Theft 2°/False Statement, 04/20/12, 700 block 87th Ave. NE
A 21-year-old and 16-year-old male were arrested for Theft 2° and Making a False Statement.  Officers responded when it was reported that a purse was taken from on top of a vehicle. The victim stated that she saw a male passenger get out of a car, take the purse, and speed off.  A short time later, officers received a report of where the vehicle and suspects were. The male suspects told officers differing stories, but it was determined that there was probable cause to arrest them based on witness statements. The males admitted their involvement to officers, and the purse was recovered. The 21-year-old male was booked into Marysville Jail, and charges were referred to the Juvenile Prosecutor for the 16-year-old male.


Assault Weapon, 04/21/12, 11000 block 22nd St. NE
Officers responded to a call where it was reported that four males entered a residence, assaulted the occupants with weapons, and fled the scene. Containment was set and a K9 track was conducted in the area, but no suspects were found.  A female at the residence was transported to the hospital for head injuries. A description of the suspects was given and the motive is unclear. The case is currently under investigation.
