What: The Edward D. Hansen Conference Center is hosting the Northwest Bridal Showcase for the seventh consecutive year on Saturday, January 9 from 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday, January 10 from 10 am – 3 pm. The Northwest Bridal Showcase will have over 100 local wedding professionals from all categories. The area’s best wedding professionals will be on hand to display the latest wedding related items such as bridal gowns, floral arrangements, disc jockeys, and caterers. Photographers, videographers, and hair and make-up artists will showcase their expertise. A bride could plan her entire wedding in a single weekend! Additionally, there will be professionally produced fashion shows each day at 2:00pm.
Get in line now! MOViN 92.5 is presenting the DRESS DASH – hosted by The Ladies Room with Brooke & Monti. The DRESS DASH will take place on Saturday morning, January 9th, at the Comcast Arena at Everett with doors opening at 7 am. Brides are encouraged to show up early for their chance of finding the dress of their dreams for a dream price! Last year, the DRESS DASH saw brides lined up at 5 am. There are over 500 gowns to choose from all priced under $200. All sales from this event will go to benefit the Brides Against Breast Cancer fundraising division of the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation.
Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to granting wishes, including memory-making events, for stage IV breast cancer patients, while continuing to support, educate and increase awareness of breast cancer. Tickets: Admission to the NW Bridal Showcase is priced at $12. Tickets are available at the door. Discount tickets can be purchased in advance online at nwbridalshowcase.com. Tickets are not available for this event through Comcast Arena at Everett’s standard outlets.
The Comcast Arena at Everett, a $71.5 million multi-purpose complex, was developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. The 10,000-seat venue hosts a myriad of events including concerts, ice skating and family shows. The facility is also home to the Everett Silvertips, a Western Hockey League franchise and the National Lacrosse League’s Washington Stealth. The venue accommodates other sporting events such as basketball, volleyball and international skating competitions.
The Comcast Community Ice Rink is used for public skating, hockey leagues, figure skating and much more. The two ice sheets can be converted to form a 57,000 square foot space to host trade shows and special events. The three-story EdwardD. Hansen Conference Center includes three 900 square foot executive meeting rooms, and an 11,000 square foot ballroom, which can be arranged in a number of different configurations.
