CAREfest 2010 takes place this weekend

CAREfest 2010 will be happening again this year in Lake Stevens on Saturday, May 1.
CAREfest is a cooperative effort of local churches and individuals serving our communities.
Hundreds of volunteers of all ages will be out because “real love (God’s love) means action”.
Of the over 65 projects, several will be in Lake Stevens including the Boys & Girls Club, the Lake Stevens Family Center, the Lake Stevens Police Dept, the downtown gazebo, the bio-swale planting area south of the library, Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School, Lake Stevens High School, Lake Stevens Senior Center, among other locations.
Serving projects range from yard work and repairs at homes of private individuals in need of help, to things like graffiti removal and landscaping at schools, to car maintenance for needy folks in partnership with Bickford Ford.
