In 2004 the Lake Stevens Arts Commission created a garden contest for Aquafest.
The garden contest has contributed to the Arts Commission’s goal of developing a strong community identity.
The event is organized and judged by community volunteers and members of the Arts Commission with the winner announced at the Aquafest Grand Parade.
