It was announced today that the new musical drama Next to Normal won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This Tony Award-winning new musical got its start in Issaquah, WA in Village Theatre’s new works program Village Originals under the title Feeling Electric.

THE GYPSY KING: HILARIOUS COMIC ROMP WORLD PREMIERES AT VILLAGE THEATRE
Village Theatres produces the World Premiere production of Emmy Award-winner Randy Rogel’s musical, THE GYPSY KING. This production will have one preview performance in Issaquah on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, and will officially open the following evening, running March 8-April 25, 2010 in downtown Issaquah, April 30-May 23, 2010 in downtown Everett.
