Navy honors Lake Stevens Mayor Vern Little

On Thursday, May 6, Lake Stevens Mayor Vern Little was recognized at the semi-annual Friends of the Navy Reception for his support and advocacy for Navy families.
“Mayor Vern Little has bent over backward to support the inauguration of Constitution Park in Lake Stevens, from the beginning of the development to changing its name in honor of military families,” Caption Thomas Mascolo, Commanding Officer at Naval Station Everett said. “Vern’s efforts directly impact the quality of life for our families. The Navy needs dependable supporters like him in the community.”
