September 3 marks the
beginning of the school year

BY PAM STEVENS | EDITOR Today’s the first day of school for thousands of students in the Lake Stevens and Granite Falls School Districts.

Granite Falls starts the school year with a brand new Superintendent with high hopes and big dreams. She is asking the community for their help in reaching those educational goals.

Lake Stevens has new elementary school boundaries and two newly remodeled schools. They have also made several changes in school principals and administration.
