Community invited to interactive school technology forum
JOURNAL STAFF What’s a new modern classroom look like in today’s world of teaching? Is it a classroom with immediate access to information from around the world, a classroom with space for both desks and computers, a classroom with equipment that allows teachers to project student work onto a screen for all to learn from?
Is it a classroom with interactive technology where all students are engaged in the classroom discussion?
The Lake Stevens Technology Team wants your thoughts as plans are developed for the future direction of technology in its classrooms.
Come see how interactive white boards are used to improve teaching, learn how immediate response technology involves all children in class discussions. See how student learning improves with the use of document cameras.
Please join the team on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 pm, at the Educational Service Center for a look at where the district is with technology.
Help develop the district’s vision for where it needs to go with integrated classroom technology for its students and teachers, and let’s together plan how to accomplish our goals.
All community members are invited to Lake Stevens School District’s Community Technology Forum on Wednesday, April 29, 6:30 pm, in board room A of the Educational Service Center located at 12309 22nd Street NE in Lake Stevens (across from North Lake Middle School). For more information call 425-335-1500.
