Miss Aquafest competition on stage this weekend

JOURNAL STAFF The 2009 Miss Aquafest Pageant will be held this Friday at Team Fitness and Saturday at Lake Stevens High School PAC.

This annual competition kicks-off the city’s annual Aquafest event and always promises to bring fun, excitement and great entertainment.

On Friday, May 1 beginning at 7 p.m. participants will perform their optionals which include Photogenic, Casual Wear, Best Actress and Talent.

Sponsors of this event are Team Fitness and Cascade Bank.
Saturday night will include the Interview, Introduction, Casual West and Escorted Evening Gown competitions.

The evening will start at 4 p.m. and is open and free to the public.
 This year there are 27 girls participating in Miss Aquafest in five age categories.

The Marquee Event sponsor is Haggen Food & Drug.
