Mrs. Guzley’s third graders from Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School have spent several weeks putting together a Penny Book with each page representing a year in their life.
Students write up their favorite experience from each year and glue a penny on the pages after adding pictures, colored paper and fun stickers.
Last Thursday, June 11, the students and their families gathered in front of Main Street Coffee in downtown Lake Stevens and shared a page from their book.
Mrs. Guzley has been doing this with her students for the past nine years and it is a favorite project among all of her students.
