The Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce luncheon will be
held on Monday, Sept. 14 at 11:30 a.m. and will feature the annual Candidates’
Forum.
Candidates for the Lake Stevens City Council and the Snohomish County Council position 5 have been invited to attend. This is a great opportunity for members of the Chamber and the public to hear what their representatives have to say.
Chamber meetings take place at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center, 12309 22nd Street NE in downtown Lake Stevens.
This informal setting will provide business leaders and
community members an opportunity to meet the candidates running for office in
the November election.
Each candidate will have an opportunity to share their views and goals as a prospective elected official and field questions compiled by a Chamber committee as well as the audience members. Come with your questions and be an informed voter.
Remember, these are the people who will be making decisions
for you and your business in the coming years, so mark your calendar and plan
to attend this informative event.
The forum is free of charge and is open to the general public; the cost for lunch is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. RSVP is mandatory for lunch to ensure enough meals are provided.
Please RSVP with the Chamber office, 425-334-0433 or info@lakestevenschamber.com by Wednesday, Sept. 9, or pre-register and make payment via PayPal from the Chamber’s website www.LakeStevensChamber.com.
