Due to weather and unexpected soil conditions, the construction of the Lundeen Parkway at Vernon Road Roundabout has had some delays. 

The Lundeen Parkway closure, originally expected to last until the April 30, 2010 is expected to be extended through May 7. 

The City of Lake Stevens affected a temporary road closure to all traffic on Lundeen Parkway at the Vernon Road intersection on March 22 in order to perform construction of a new roundabout improvement. 
The Lundeen Parkway is expected to be reopened by May 8. 

On May 10 ,Vernon Road, south of Lundeen Parkway, is expected to be closed to through traffic except buses, emergency services, and postal delivery.  This closure is expected to extend through May 28. 
This closure is necessary to complete the site preparation and full construction of this intersection
Closure date signs will be posted with the closure dates and updated if necessary due to any changes in the closure period dates.
