Lake Stevens High School’s Spring Musical, “The Mikado” brought home two Awards from the 5th Avenue High School Musical Awards Show on Monday, June 7. 

The awards show is a Tony Awards style show that recognizes the extraordinary amount of work, talent and commitment that faculty and students put into their yearly high school musical productions.  High school musicals throughout Washington state were evaluated. 

The show was broadcast on TVW-23 Comcast on June 13 at 1 p.m.

LSHS took home two awards and five nominations for their performance of “The Mikado”. 

They received their nominations for Outstanding Costume Design, Hair and Makeup, Outstanding Lobby Display and Outstanding Program Design.  They won for Outstanding Costume Design, Hair and Makeup.
