Detectives investigate robbery in Marysville area

No one was injured in a home invasion robbery that happened Monday morning in the 8400 block of 27th Ave. NE in unincorporated Marysville.
Detectives believe the two male suspects were attempting to target a specific house, but entered the wrong one instead.
The two men went into the house about 7 a.m.
A teenage girl was asleep inside (she was a visitor at the house, not a resident).
The homeowners were asleep in a nearby building on the property. The female homeowner walked into the main house as the robbery was happening.
The men were armed with a rifle and a handgun and threatened to hurt the two females, but fortunately no one was injured.
The men stole some electronics from the house and fled in a pickup truck which was found in a nearby neighborhood. The truck was determined to be stolen out of Marysville.
Neighbors spotted two men removing items from the stolen pickup and putting them into a second vehicle.
Based on information provided by those neighbors, detectives ended up at a house in the 9100 block of 94th Drive SE in Lake Stevens. The second suspicious vehicle was there.
Detectives got a search warrant, searched the house and found evidence from the home invasion robbery in Marysville.
No one has been arrested yet. The case remains under investigation.
