With fantastic food, gifts galore, and Santa and Mrs. Santa, the Christmas Day gathering at the Lake Stevens Senior Center was a huge success.
Fifty-seven seniors and 20 volunteers for a total of 77 attended, and there was lots of laughter and togetherness to make the day special.
Thanks to Anne and Ed Spence who started all this seven years ago in their home. This is the fifth year the party has been held at the Lake Stevens Senior Center.
The Spences, together with their family, are still involved.
Wayne Franz, this year’s chairman, had a committee of wonderful seniors to make sure everything was done to make Christmas a day of celebration.
Sixteen capable seniors came the day before Christmas to decorate and fill the gift bags.
Everyone received huge bags of goodies, including gift cards, and forever stamps. Already some are planning to attend next year.
Generous contributions of money, time and gifts from the Lake Stevens community were graciously received. Thanks to one and all.
