Macy Berg, Miss Pre-Teen Aquafest. 

I’ve been attending Aquafest ever since I was born with my mom, Jan Berg, working for the city and all. I love going every year and enjoying the environment of this community.

Some of my favorite things to do during Aquafest weekend are the Children’s Parade, Proud Pet Show, Grand Parade, $50 Boat Race, Celebrity Softball Game, Aquafest Idol, walking around and checking out all the different booths, and, of course, the carnival rides.

There is also a Miss Aquafest Pageant. I am currently the reigning Miss Pre-Teen Aquafest and I was also Little Miss Aquafest in 2008.

I love this program because it’s not only a natural pageant where you need no experience in pageantry to compete in, but it’s a great time.

Having the Miss Aquafest title is so much fun! I love wearing my crown and sash to appearances and doing community service with it. I especially love wearing it to Aquafest weekend. The next pageant is this coming May 21-22.
Anyways, back to Aquafest, I recommend that you should go and take your family with you. There are things for people of all ages to do and fun ones too. I hope to see you there.
