Local kids got to take an up close and personal look at the big trucks
that Public Works uses to keep our city looking it’s best.
Big trucks, backhoes and other interesting vehicles showed up at local elementary schools last week in celebration of National Public Works week.
This event gave the community a look at the services provided by Public Works including snow plowing, street sweeping and much more.
The crew visited three elementary schools including Glenwood, Hillcrest and Highland. Field staff performed presentations on what they and the equipment provide to the City.
