Granite Falls resident, Angela Marie Gilbert, 41, was last seen while taking a walk with a friend on Thursday, June 2.
Gilbert and her male friend were walking on private timberland near 21400 block of 119th Street NE in unincorporated Granite Falls.

She and her friend reportedly left a house in the area to go for a walk along a trail. The friend returned alone and told others that Angela had decided to continue walking by herself, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Community Relations Director Rebecca Hover said in a statement.

On Sunday, June 5, Gilbert’s mother called authorities to report her daughter missing.
Deputies searched the area for her on June 5 and search and rescue volunteers continued to search last Wednesday, June 8.

Gilbert’s friends and family have also been looking for her and believe they found her shoe near the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River close to the fish ladders.

Gilbert is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a white down coat, blue jeans and black tennis shoes with pink laces.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the case.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Angela Marie Gilbert to call the tip line at 425-388-3845.

Gilbert’s friends have set up a Facebook page for friends and family to be able to console one another. To visit that page go to www.facebook.com/pages/Missing-Angela-Gilbert.
