Problem number one: Kids get bored in the summer.

Problem number two: Kids usually lose learning in the summer  and their reading skills decline.
Solution:   The Lake Stevens Middle School Library is open this summer. Students ages 10-15 are welcome to stop by the LSMS library to check out books on Tuesday and Thursday mornings all summer long.     Hours are 9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. from July 5 to August 25.

It’s a great opportunity to keep minds alive.  The Lake Stevens Kiwanis and the Lake Stevens Education Foundation have teamed up to support this important community resource being available to those who need it most.
So bike, walk, or run over to the LSMS Library this summer.
