Rotary Club installs new board, Rotarian of the Year announced

Friday, June 17 was the date of the annual installation banquet for the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens.
This year’s event was held at the Fire Department’s Conference Center and was enjoyed by all in attendance.
Outgoing President Dave DeLorm thanked the board and all of the members for their contributions to the successes of the Club just before announcing this year’s Rotarian of the Year recipient.
Before the new officers and directors were installed, DeLorm announced Gary O’Rielly as the 2011 Rotarian of the Year.
Incoming officers include JD Hemmert as President; Jim Kelly as President-Elect; Gary O’Rielly, Secretary; Carie Rott, Treasurer; Jim Kooy, Club Service Chair (Director); Scott Smith, President-Nominee and Community Service Chair (Director); Barbara Knowles, International Service Chair (Director); Dean Franz, Vocational Service Chair (Director); Dave DeLorm, Past President. The new officers will take over on July 1.
