On Saturday, July 16 local Boeing employees worked hand-in-hand with folks at the Lake Stevens Boys & Girls Club to support the annual Boeing Global Day of Service event.
“The team of volunteers who worked on this project are all community service conscious individuals who donated their time and talent to make an impact in their neighborhood,” Project Manager Barry Torgesen said.
Boeing Company had 28 Global Days of Service Events going on in the Puget Sound on July 16. The Boys & Girls Club project consisted of 47 volunteers. These volunteers were made up of Boeing employees, family and friends.
The volunteers age ranges from 14 years old to the late 60’s. Many brought their personal tools and purchased supplies to share with others and complete this project.
