You’ve seen the Amazing Race on television, well now’s your chance to compete in your own amazing race right here in Lake Stevens.

On Saturday, October 15 beginning at 10 a.m. kids and teens will be able to race for prizes by collecting items and performing tasks in downtown Lake Stevens.

All challenges are age appropriate and the race will run between North Cove Park, downtown boat launch, Main Street Center and the Boys & Girls Club.

The cost is $5 per person and there will be great prizes for the winners in each category.

Age categories and start times are: 10 a.m.  for ages 12 to 15 (no parent required).
12 noon for kids under 8 years old (parent required).

2 p.m for ages 8 to 11 years old (parents not required but suggested).

Kids can travel in packs but the race is for individuals so each person will have to perform each task separately.
