Goodwill job training classes begin in March

The Marysville Goodwill Job Training and Education Center is planning to offer another round of FREE classes, beginning March 12.

(Classes meet twice a week and run for eight weeks) March 12 - May 3.
 Classes include:
·  ESL-English as a Second Language (Basic, Levels 1, 2 & 3)
· Citizenship Preparation
· Customer Service
· Computer Basics
· MS Word
·  MS Excel
·  Online Job Search
· Rosetta Stone Lab (English)
· Open Lab daily M-TH 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Open lab time is for students and the general public to receive help with career related activities (internet job search, resume writing, interviewing skills and submitting resumes online), practice computer skills, and practice ESOL skills using different computer programs.

Registration for the FREE classes is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on February 29 at the Marysville Goodwill Job Training and Education Center, 9315 State Ave.

All students must complete an interview and placement test before joining a class.
