If you like bands such as Metallica, Three Doors Down or Def Leppard then you will love Lake Stevens’ own Whiskey Labido whose new CD “8 Shots” debuts on May 12.
Singer Chris Allis, rhythm and lead guitarist Todd Burghduff, bass player and vocalist Johnny Moore, rhythm and lead guitarist Mike Lee and drum player Corey Allen will be holding a cancer benefit concert at the Everett Wal-Mart on April 28 where they will be sharing some of their latest music from the new CD.
Local KXRX.net deejay Jayden Prince said, “Props to all the Whiskey Labido fans out there, you are quite the vocal minority!!! Your band rocks and their fans apparently do too!”
Burghduff’s sister-in-law Sharon Burghduff, has done all the artwork for the CD.
“If it wasn’t for the support of all our family and friends and the Lake Stevens community, we couldn’t have done it without them,” Todd Burghduff said.
Whiskey Labido will be opening for Powerman 5000, Friday September 7 at El Corazon in Seattle, Wa. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at reverbnation.com/whlab. You can also listen to the bands music and read more on their journey at reverb nation.
Stop by La Hacienda in Lake Stevens on May 12 from 9 p.m. to midnight to get a copy of the new CD and to meet the band while enjoying a free show.
