Host Families sought for Ironman 70.3 athletes in July

Lake Stevens will be welcoming Ironman 70.3 World Qualifier Event again this year Saturday, July 15.
This annual event brings in up to 1500 athletes from across our country as well as internationally.
Since Lake Stevens has no hotels or motels, the Chamber of Commerce is facilitating a Host Family program for the athletes. The average stay is three to four nights but could extend as long as a week as athletes may want to train at the race venue prior to the race.
