The Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club held their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday at the Highland Elementary School. Warm weather brought out hundreds of children to greet the Easter Bunny and look for the prize eggs.

Special thanks go to Boy Scout Troop 41, Lake Stevens High School Key Club and the Lake Stevens Builders Clubs.
Every year we have grown to count on our wonderful Fire Department and Police Department. The Lake Stevens Fire Department took special care to deliver the Easter Bunny and sound their siren to start the event. It was like a wild herd of elephants with every egg, all 4,200, scooped up in five minutes flat.

The Lake Stevens Kiwanis gave almost 200 prizes to the kids. Twelve new bicycles were given away to some smiling young people eleven and under. Kohl’s Department Store in Snohomish gave a generous contribution of special books and stuffed animals for the kids.
