Robbery suspects took off on foot through the neighborhood at 22nd Street NE, Lake Stevens.

Neighbors were startled to see police and K9 units surrounding the neighborhoods near the 11000 block of 22nd St. NE early Saturday morning, April 21.

Police were responding to a 911 call at 4:50 a.m., which indicated that a home had been robbed while four occupants were still inside.

Four male suspects entered the home, which police believe was specifically chosen.
“We believe they were targeted,” Lake Stevens Police Chief Randy Celori said.

The suspects are three white males and one African-American male most likely in their 20s.
“They attempted to gain access to a safe,” Celori said. “A fight occurred between some of the suspects and some of the occupants. The suspects then fled on foot.”

A female victim was struck in the head and needed medical assistance.
The victims claimed the suspects were armed with a handgun and a knife.
When police officers arrived at the scene the suspects had taken off on foot.

“When we arrived we set up containment and brought in K9s to track where they went,” Celori said. “We were unable to locate any of the suspects but we did recover some evidence.”

The case is still under investigation by the detectives. If you have any information please contact Lake Stevens Police at 425-334-9537.
