Chris Larson, the principal at Mt. Pilchuck Elementary has put out a school wide challenge and is asking for the community’s help as well.

If the students at Mount Pilchuck can raise $2,000 by Tuesday, June 19, Mrs. Larson will take a “time out” on the roof of the school during Field Day that week.

The money will be used to support The Leader in Me @ Mount Pilchuck Program, a program which involves FranklinCovey training for the entire school staff in basic leadership practices including Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Staff will then teach those principles to their students through the classroom, school activities, lessons and systems.
Students then take those principles with them into their homes and the community giving them tools to become more successful throughout their lives.

Each classroom is being asked to raise $100 through donations.
If you would like to donate please call Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School at 425-335-1525.

You can also attend a Stella & Dot jewelry show at Papas & Beer on Tuesday, June 19 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. All proceeds will go toward The Leader in Me program.

You can also purchase online at www.stelladot.com/divabach or call Mary Beth Kurtenbach at 425-923-5793.
